What we do

We help brands develop packaging designs that perform on shelf, across categories, and in local markets.

Brand positioning

We settle brand positioning before anyone opens a design file. From defining who the product is for to establishing the hierarchy on pack, we turn the wider brand strategy into clear direction for design.

Brand architecture for products, ranges and portfolios

We use brand architecture to make the relationship between products, ranges and portfolios clear. From masterbrand decisions to range architecture and tiering, we create portfolio strategies that strengthen recognition and make ranges easier to navigate.

Brand messaging frameworks

We build brand messaging frameworks that define how a product’s value is communicated. This creates a single source of truth that keeps messaging consistent as ranges grow and brands move across markets.

Brand consultancy

Our brand consultancy doesn’t stop at the strategic handover. We stay involved as a brand execution partner, carrying the thinking through into design and artwork so the strategy informs implementation.

Packaging strategy

Our approach to packaging strategy is built on practical design principles. We translate your brand identity for packaging into a clear framework ready for creative development.

Common questions

What is packaging brand strategy?

Packaging brand strategy defines what a brand stands for, how its portfolio is structured and what it needs to communicate, before a product ever reaches the shelf.

What is the difference between brand strategy and visual identity?

Brand strategy defines what the brand stands for and how the portfolio is structured. Visual identity is how that is expressed. They are separate disciplines, and we handle them in separate teams.

Do you work on the brand, or only on the packaging?

Both, though the brand work is scoped to what needs to reach a pack: positioning, portfolio structure and messaging direction.

Can you work from positioning we already have?

Yes. Many projects begin with positioning that is sound but has not yet been translated into direction a designer can act on.

Need a stronger
strategic foundation?

Bring us the brand challenge. We’ll turn it into a practical foundation for packaging that works across markets.
